PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood separation cylinder capable of preventing a part of blood plasma or blood serum, separated in the blood separation cylinder, from being pushed back to a gasket, and capable of efficiently sending the blood components in the gasket, for a blood separation membrane, to the blood separation cylinder.SOLUTION: A blood separation cylinder 11 comprises: a valve case 12 including a tabular check valve 21 made of rubber or soft elastomer for isolating blood cells and cell components, separated by a blood separation membrane, and blood plasma or blood serum, the valve case 12 provided at an end of a resin-made body of the blood separation cylinder 11 and a gasket 13, for the blood separation membrane, storing a blood separation membrane 31 therein, which is mounted at the end of the body of the blood separation cylinder 11 so that the blood separation membrane 31 comes close to the valve case 12.
