PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repellent and a repellent product which can be produced relatively inexpensively in a large quantity, and can exhibit a repellent effect to birds and animals for a long period.SOLUTION: A repellent comprises acetic acid, butyric acid, and isovaleric acid, which are contained in excrement of carnivorous animals, as essential active ingredients. The repellent exhibits an excellent repellent effect to birds and animals, and its effectiveness lasts for a long period. Further, a first repellent product is a liquid holding material or a gelatinous liquid holding material impregnated with the repellent, which is sealed airtight in a packing material. By opening the packaging material, the repellent can be gradually evaporated and dispersed, and the repellent effect can be maintained for a long period. A second repellent product is a liquid holding material or a gelatinous liquid holding material which is stored in a container, can be gradually evaporated and dispersed out of the container via a vent hole formed in a lid, and the repellent effect can similarly be maintained for a long period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】比較的安価に大量生産が可能であり、鳥獣に対して長期間忌避効果を発揮できる忌避剤及び忌避製品を提供する。【解決手段】忌避剤は、肉食獣の排泄物に含まれる酢酸、酪酸及びイソ吉草酸を必須の有効成分として含んでおり、当該忌避剤は、鳥獣に対して優れた忌避効果を発揮し、且つ長期間に亘ってその効力が持続する。また、第1忌避製品は、忌避剤が含浸された保液材又はゲル状の保液剤が包装材内に気密状に封入されたものであり、包装材を開封等することによって、忌避剤を徐々に揮発、発散させることができ、忌避効果を長期間持続させることができ、第2忌避製品は、保液材又はゲル状の保液剤が容器に収納され、蓋に形成された通気孔を介して忌避剤を容器外へと徐々に揮発、発散させることができるものであり、同様に、忌避効果を長時間に亘り持続させることができる。【選択図】図1
