The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating Peyronie&prime；s disease comprising histone deacetylase inhibitor 2 as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, an inhibitor for HDAC2 reduces fibrotic lesion of tunica albuginea of penis； inhibits expression of HDAC2 in a fibroblast to inhibit activation of the TGF-beta signal transduction pathway； reduces synthesis of extracellular matrix by inhibiting cell differentiation from the fibroblast to muscle fibroblast； has an outstanding effect of inhibiting tissue fibrosis； and can be advantageously used for prevention or treatment of Peyronie&prime；s disease.본 발명은 HDAC2의 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 페이로니병의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 HDAC2의 억제제는 음경백막의 섬유화 병변을 감소시키고, 섬유모세포 내 HDAC2의 발현을 억제하여 TGF-β 신호전달경로의 활성을 억제하고, 섬유모세포에서 근섬유모세포로의 분화를 억제함으로써 세포외기질의 합성을 감소시켜 조직섬유화를 억제시키는 효과가 우수하여, 페이로니병의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
