This invention relates to an implement (1) for applying a volume of liquid to a treatment surface. The implement includes a support means (3) onto which is mounted a receptacle (2), the receptacle defining a reservoir space (4) which receives the liquid. The receptacle includes a wall (6) having a working surface that is used to spread the liquid over the treatment surface. The wall (6) is resiliently deformable so in use the working surface maintains contact with the treatment surface when spreading the liquid. The implement has a specific application in applying a transdermal lotion to the axilla area of the user. The invention also relates to a system for transdermal administration of a physiological active agent from a liquid composition and a method of conducting the same.La présente invention concerne un instrument (1) conçu pour appliquer un volume de liquide sur une surface à traiter. Cet instrument comprend un moyen de support (3) sur lequel est monté un réceptacle (2) qui définit un espace de réservoir (4) conçu pour recevoir le liquide. Le réceptacle présente une paroi (6) qui comporte une surface active utilisée pour étaler le liquide sur la surface à traiter. La paroi (6) peut être déformée de façon résiliente, de manière que, en service, la surface active reste en contact avec la surface à traiter lors de létalement du liquide. Linstrument selon cette invention sutilise de façon spécifique pour appliquer une lotion transdermique au niveau de la région axillaire de lutilisateur. Cette invention concerne aussi un système dadministration transdermique dun agent actif physiologique dune composition liquide, ainsi quun procédé permettant de mettre en oeuvre ce système.
