PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact ultraviolet sterilizing device with high efficiency having uniform light distribution.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet sterilizing device includes: a hollow internal space 40 through which a gas and/or a liquid to be processed flows an ultraviolet-ray transmitting glass tube 10 which has an inner tube wall 70 and an outer tube wall 60 and is selected from quartz glass and borosilicate glass a reflector 30 and at least one ultraviolet ray source 20.
