There is a need in the art for a system and apparatus for automated total body imaging that captures multiple body images of a user or patient within minimal assistance from medical staff. Accordingly, there is disclosed herein a total body imaging station (400) comprising an enclosed interior area, at least one door (404) enabling a user to enter into the enclosed interior area, and a plurality of cameras (418) within the enclosed interior area. The cameras (418) exist in stationary positions and are not capable of repositioning. In one or more embodiments, the total body imaging station (400) comprises at least three cameras (418) horizontally spaced along a horizontal row in relation to one another, which allow overlapping images to be captured of a user who is posing in a series of one or more predetermined body poses.
