The present disclosure provides compositions and methods of treating Alzheimers Disease. In an aspect, a nanoparticle is paired to one or more genetic materials that regulates inflammation in a microenvironment. Such nanoparticles can be used to target predefined target cell types in connection with treatment of at least one of the following Alzheimers disease, Picks disease, Lewy Body disease, or Idiopathic dementia.
