PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve an information terminal which searches for medical images similar to a medical image to be read.SOLUTION: Provided is a control method which causes plural data sets comprising plural images corresponding to plural medical images which have a predetermined similarity to a medical image to be read, to be received from a case search system, and also causes a display screen including a first display region showing the plural similar medical images in thumbnail view to be displayed on a display unit. The control method causes one similar medical image selected from the plural similar images shown in the first display region in thumbnail view, to be detected. When the selected one similar image indicates a diffuse lesion, the control method causes the remainder of the plural similar images to be displayed in a second display region of the display screen.
