PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform beam forming at high speed and with high accuracy without performing approximate computation.SOLUTION: This beam forming method comprises: a step (a) of receiving a wave coming from a measurement object and generating a received signal and a step (b) of performing beam forming processing to the received signal generated in the step (a). The step (b) comprises the process configured such that the complex exponential represented by using the wave number of the wave and the carrier frequency is multiplied to the value obtained by subjecting the received signal to Fourier transform with respect to an axial direction without performing wave number matching comprising interpolation approximate processing to the received signal, and thereby the wave number matching concerning the lateral direction is performed and the product is subjected to the Fourier transform with respect to the lateral direction, and the complex exponential capable of being executed except an effect of the wave number matching performed laterally is multiplied to the operation result obtained so as to generate an image signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】近似計算を行うことなく、ビームフォーミングを高速且つ高精度に行う。【解決手段】このビームフォーミング方法は、計測対象物から到来する波動を受信して受信信号を生成するステップ(a)と、ステップ(a)において生成される受信信号に対してビームフォーミング処理を行うステップ(b)とを具備し、ステップ(b)が、受信信号に対して補間近似処理を含む波数マッチングを行わずに、受信信号を軸方向に関してフーリエ変換したものに波動の波数及び搬送周波数を用いて表される複素指数関数を掛けることにより横方向に関する波数マッチングを行い、その積を横方向に関してフーリエ変換し、得られた演算結果に、横方向に行われた波数マッチングの効果を除いて実施できる複素指数関数を掛けて軸方向に関する波数マッチングを行い、イメージ信号を生成することを含む。【選択図】図2
