Methods and compositions are provided for treating or preventing a Gram-positive bacteria infection using an inhibitor of lipoteichoic acid synthase (LtaS). In some embodiments, the inhibitor is a small molecule. In certain embodiments, the inhibitor is 2- oxo-2-(5- phenyl- 1, 3, 4-oxadiazol-2-ylamino)ethyl 2-naphtho[2,l-b]furan-l-ylacetate, or a salt thereof.L'invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions pour le traitement ou la prévention d'une infection par des bactéries à gram positif à l'aide d'un inhibiteur de l'acide lipotéichoïque synthase (LtaS).
