PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide services of fetching a pet at a hotel or an inn when a pet owner has arrived at the hotel or the inn or at a specified time of day, taking necessary care of it, and returning it at a specified time. SOLUTION: A system of pet caretaking during a trip comprises a terminal of a service provider 1; a Web server 2 accessible via an Internet communication network, a database 3 of a hotel which ties up with a pet caretaking dealer or the like which is connected to the Web server 2; a database 4 of the pet caretaking dealer tied up with the hotel; and a utility situation recorder 5 for recording the utility situation of the Web server 2. A traveller 10 or a travel agency 11 which has received a request from the traveller 10 accesses the Web server 2 via the Internet, browses a web page to search the hotel database 3 at a travel destination for a hotel or inn entering a business tie up with the pet caretaking dealer.
