PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a metallic wire which is integrally joined with a hole formed on the base end surface of a suture needle for medical use, is easily bent and broken.SOLUTION: The suture needle A includes: a stop hole 5 for joint by caulking, which is formed in the base end surface 3 and to which the end part of the wire 10 is inserted and a counterbore 6 which is formed on the side of the base end surface 3 in the stop hole 5 and where at least a dimension D in the base end surface 3 is larger than the dimension d of the stop hole 5 and also the depth L is shallower than that of a caulking part with respect to the stop hole 5. The suture needle with a wire integrally joins the wire 10 by inserting the end part of the wire 10 to the stop hole 5 and caulking the outer circumference corresponding to the stop hole 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】医療用縫合針の元端面に形成した穴に一体的に結合した金属ワイヤが折損し易いという問題を軽減する。
