PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a possibility of sorting defective capsules and non-defective capsules by using force other than an ascending air current simply flowing from the lower side to the upper side.SOLUTION: The capsule sorting device includes: a passage plate on which capsules pass and an air current forming hood which serves as a passage guiding an ascending air current flowing upwardly from the lower side of an air current passage part formed in part of the passage plate. The capsule sorting device sorts out defective capsules from non-defective capsules.
