[Problem] To provide a manufacturing method for an absorbent article having a fiber aggregate layer of cellulose acetate fibers, whereby it is possible to apply a sufficient amount of a drug to the cellulose acetate fibers. [Solution] The present invention is a manufacturing method for an absorbent article comprising: a fiber aggregate layer formed from cellulose acetate fibers； and a member that contains absorbent fibers and is positioned upon the fiber aggregate layer so as to be in direct contact therewith. The manufacturing method is characterized by comprising: a first step in which the fiber aggregate layer is formed by opening a cellulose acetate tow and collecting cellulose acetate fibers； a second step in which a fiber dispersant is dispersed on the fiber aggregate layer and is dried； a third step in which an aqueous drug solution including an antibacterial agent and/or a deodorant is dispersed on the surface of the fiber aggregate layer where the fiber dispersant was dispersed； and a fourth step in which the member is mounted on the surface of the fiber aggregate layer where the aqueous drug solution was dispersed.L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article absorbant possédant une couche d'assemblage de fibres d'acétate de cellulose, lequel procédé permet de suffisamment appliquer un produit chimique médicinal aux fibres d'acétate de cellulose.
