The present invention provides a peptide which: (i) consists of 10 to 16 amino acids； (ii) has at least 8 cationic amino acids with either (a) a side chain comprising a guanidinium group, or (b) a side chain comprising an amino group, of which no more than 7 are consecutive； and (iii) has 2 or 3 tryptophan residues which are not both, or not all, consecutive, said peptide optionally in the form of a salt, ester or amide, or a peptidomimetic of said peptide. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, the use of these compounds in therapy, particularly as anti-tumor (e.g. anti-lymphoma) agents and non-therapeutic uses of these compounds.La présente invention concerne un peptide qui : (i) est constitué de 10 à 16 acides aminés ； (ii) comporte au moins 8 acides aminés cationiques portant soit (a) une chaîne latérale comprenant un groupe guanidine, soit (b) une chaîne latérale comprenant un groupe amine, dont au maximum 7 sont consécutives ； et (iii) comporte 2 ou 3 résidus tryptophane qui ne sont pas, par deux ou dans leur ensemble, consécutifs. Ledit peptide peut éventuellement se présenter sous forme d'un sel, d'un ester ou d'un amide, ou d'un composé peptidomimétique dudit peptide. L'invention concerne en outre des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ces composés, l'utilisation de ces composés en thérapie, particulièrement en tant qu'agents anti-tumoraux (par exemple dirigés contre les lymphomes), et des utilisations non thérapeutiques de ces composés.
