PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus configured to reduce the time and effort of replacing a storage device, and a medical image diagnosing apparatus.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus includes: an interface 21 with detachable first or second storage devices 210, 220 for storing image data and inspection information generated by an inspection； a take-over condition setting unit 22 which sets a condition for taking over the image data and inspection information to be taken over by the second storage device 220, out of the image data and inspection information stored in the first storage device 210； a take over unit 23 which reads the image data and inspection information from the first storage device 210, and writes them to the second storage device 220.
