PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type massage machine which is equipped with a structure for massaging the femoral region and lumbar region of a user sitting in a seat portion, from the right and left sides, which can perform an effective massage operation, and which does make lateral massage mechanisms cause any hindrance to the users standing and sitting motions.SOLUTION: The chair-type massage machine 1 includes the seat portion 2 and a backrest portion 3 that is provided in the rear of the seat portion 2. The pair of lateral massage mechanisms 10 disposed in the state of facing each other is provided on both the right and left sides of the seat portion 2 or the backrest portion 3, respectively.
