PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Prevotella intermedia inhibitor capable of effectively inhibiting the proliferation of the Prevotella intermedia in an oral cavity.
SOLUTION: This Prevotella intermedia inhibitor is characterized by containing lactoferrin derived from a cow as an active ingredient, and orally administered three times daily by 10 to 50 mg/kg body weight amount based on the lactoferrin amount. The lactoferrin has preferably 10 to 30% degree of iron saturation. And also, the Prevotella intermedia inhibitor preferably has a troche preparation form.
