PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplantation hand that can transplant a seedbed piece into a hole of a transplantation destination by bundling the spreading seedling roots even when at the time of transplantation the roots of the seedlings radially spread and extend outward from the lower surface of the seedbed piece.SOLUTION: A transplantation hand 30 comprises a pinching part 26 that is movable while pinching a seedbed piece when transplanting a seedbed piece N into a hole 18 of the transplantation destination, and an enclosing part 28 that can change to a closed state surrounding a root Ne of a seedling S extending downward from the lower surface of the seedbed piece, can change to an opened state displaced outward from the closed state, and is capable of passing through the hole in the vertical direction. The enclosing part of the transplantation hand, then, changes to the closed state from the opened state, at the root of the seedling extending downward from the lower surface of the seedbed piece or at an upper position of the root, after passing through the hole from below to above, and after moving from the root side of the seedling to the tip side, passes through the hole from above to below in advance when the seedbed piece pinched by the pinching part is inserted into the hole from above, in the closed state remained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】移植時に苗の根が苗床片の下面から外方へ放射状に広がるように延びている場合でも、苗の根の広がりをまとめて苗床片を移植先の穴に移植することができる移植ハンドを提供する。【解決手段】移植ハンド３０は、移植先の穴１８に苗床片Ｎを移植するときに苗床片を挟持して移動可能な挟持部２６と、苗床片の下面から下方へ延びる苗Ｓの根Ｎｅを包囲する閉じ状態と閉じ状態から外側へ変位した開き状態とに変化可能であり且つ穴を上下方向に通過可能な包囲部２８と、を備える。そして、移植ハンドの包囲部は、穴を下方から上方に通過した後、苗床片の下面から下方へ延びる苗の根の根元又は根元よりも上方位置で開き状態から閉じ状態に変化し、その閉じ状態のまま、苗の根元側から先端側に向けて移動した後に、挟持部に挟持された苗床片が穴に上方から挿入されるときに先行して穴を上方から下方に通過する。【選択図】図１
