PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric which has a unique rough touch feeling and a high grade feeling, and the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric 1 includes fibers 2 and resin lumps 3. Each of the resin lumps 3 includes resin for forming the fibers 2. In the nonwoven fabric 1, a plurality of large-sized resin lumps 30 exist. Each of the large-sized resin lumps 30 has a length L0 in a nonwoven fabric thickness direction of 10 μm or more and partly project from a surface 1S of the nonwoven fabric 1. An average length in a nonwoven thickness direction in the plurality of large-sized resin lumps 30 is 60 μm or more. A manufacturing method of the nonwoven fabric 1 has a process for extending molten resin so as to make fibers by discharging the molten resin from a nozzle via a flow passage and blowing hot wind to the discharged molten resin and forming the nonwoven fabric by accumulating the fibers. In the manufacturing method, the nonwoven fabric can be manufactured by adding gas or a gas generating material for generating gas to the molten resin before being discharged from the nozzle.
