PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic apparatus for attaining both convenience when using a detection unit in a portable manner and high functionality in fixedly using the detection unit, and to provide a control method for the apparatus.SOLUTION: The radiographic apparatus includes: a radiation generation unit for irradiating a subject with radiation a detection unit for photographing the radiation image by detecting the radiation from the radiation generation unit, which transmits the subject and a control unit for controlling the radiography by the radiation generation unit and the detection unit.
