PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular access device for reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases compared to conventional devices.SOLUTION: The vascular access device 1 includes a first connecting member 10 of a tubular shape, a second connecting member 20 of a tubular shape, and a main part 30 which is connected to the first connecting member 10 and the second connecting member 20 at a position between the first connecting member 10 and the second connecting member 20 and has an inner flow passage communicating with the first connecting member 10 and the second connecting member 20. The main part 30 sends blood to the outside when there is the blood in the inner flow passage and is configured to receive a fluid to the inner flow passage from the outside. The first connecting member 10 is configured to be connected to a vein.
