The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing metallic oxide particle-containing resin powder including: dispersing metallic oxide particles having a specific average particle diameter and a UV shielding function in a (meth)acrylic-based resin monomer to produce a (meth)acrylic-based resin monomer dispersion liquid； suspending or emulsifying the (meth)acrylic-based resin monomer dispersion liquid； and, adding a polymerization initiator to cause suspension polymerization or emulsification polymerization, thereby generating metallic oxide particle-containing resin powder, and provides metallic oxide particles which are dispersed in the resin powder without being exposed on the surface of the resin powder, the powder includes fine particles, the UV absorbing performance, and the transparency with respect to visible light rays are improved.
