The syringe storage container (10) stores a plurality of syringes (26) which each have a cap (28) on a tip part and a flange (30) on a base end part, the container comprising: a container body (12) comprising an opening part (19) which is surrounded by the upper end of peripheral wall parts extending upwards from around a bottom part (12a) and a ledge (14) on the peripheral wall parts a nest plate (16) which is mounted on the ledge (14) and has a plurality of aligned receiving cylinders (18) penetrating therethrough such that inserted syringes (26) are hung from the receiving cylinders (18) by the flanges (30) being engaged therewith a plurality of enclosures (17) which are provided on the bottom part (12a) at positions facing the plurality of receiving cylinders (18), such that when a syringe (26) is hung on a receiving cylinder (18), the cap (28) thereof is inserted into an enclosure and communication passages between the space surrounded by the caps (28), the enclosures (17), and the bottom part (12a), and the outer space of the enclosures (17) inside the container main body (12).
