摘要:
FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical rehabilitation of patients with postmastectomy syndrome. Method is performed on 2–4th day after surgery. Method is followed by fluctuorization of shoulder girdle muscles and an upper extremity on the side of the surgical intervention, which involves 12 procedures with varying arrangement of electrodes, current type and exposure time. First 4 procedures are performed with bipolar symmetrical current: an electrode with a hydrophilic spacer with size of 150 cm2 moistened with warm water is applied on the anterior inner surface of the shoulder joint of the operated extremity. Second electrode size of 150 cm2 have transversely. Exposure is carried out until a pleasant soft vibration is experienced, current intensity is 0.5 to 2 mA, exposure time is 10 minutes. 5–8 procedure is performed with bipolar asymmetric current. Active electrode with hydrophilic spacer with size of 150 cm2, moistened with warm water, is applied on a greater pectoral muscle of the operated extremity. Second electrode of the same dimensions is placed longitudinally on the inner surface of the shoulder. Current intensity is from 5 to 10 mA to produce pronounced vibration; exposure time is 12 minutes. 9–12 procedure is performed by unipolar rectified current. Active electrode with hydrophilic spacer with size of 150 cm2, moistened with warm water, is applied on the projection of the middle of the biceps of the operated extremity. Second electrode of the same size is placed longitudinally on the inner surface of the forearm. Current intensity is from 10 to 20 mA, until vibration with contraction of muscles under electrodes; exposure time is 15 minutes.EFFECT: method enables reducing the length of recovery, avoiding complications in the postoperative period, preventing or eliminating both early and late manifestations of postmastectomy syndrome, namely development of pyoinflammatory processes, coarse cicatrical deformities, edema
