PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface modification material for a dental material, which improves the adhesiveness between the dental material, such as a noble metal alloy, and a dental luting agent or adhesive, improves water resistance and durability, and simply and easily performs the surface treatment of the dental material.SOLUTION: The surface modification material causes a tribochemical reaction by collision and/or friction with the dental material.
