METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELECTRIC CABLE PROCESSING THROUGH A METAL WALL OF A HOUSING, ESPECIALLY AN ACTIVE MEDICAL DEVICE, AND DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH IMPLEMENTATION
The method involves forming electrically insulating external and internal layers (24, 26) on external and internal sides of an electrically conductive metal wall (10) i.e. titanium housing, respectively. A non-through groove (30) including a closed contour and defining a physically isolated conductor metal islet (28) in the wall is formed on the internal side. External and internal pads (34, 36) i.e. openings, are exposed on the sides of the wall, respectively, for making electrical contacts to the metal islet by removing material corresponding to thickness of the layers, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a titanium housing for an electronic device.
