The diaper (1) has a crotch section (C) and has a belly-side section (A) and a back-side section (B) which extend from the front and rear of the crotch section (C). The diaper (1) comprises: fastening tapes (40) for fastening purpose, the fastening tapes (40) being provided in the left and right side regions of the back-side section (B)； and a target tape (50) to which the fastening tapes (40) are fastened, the target tape (50) being provided on the outer surface of the belly-side section (A). The absorption body (30) has a recess (31) in the region thereof which overlaps the target tape (50), and the recess (31) is formed along the width direction of the absorption body (30). The presence of the recess (31) can be recognized by tactile sensation from the rear surface-side outer surface of the diaper.
