An oral composition of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) for use in the treatment of aggressive breast cancer characterised by overexpression of the Her2 (human epidermal growth factor 2, ErbB-2) gene is provided. Cannabidiol (CBD) for use in the treatment of aggressive breast cancer characterised by overexpression of the Her2 gene is outlined and a combination of THC and CBD for use in the treatment of breast cancer or to treat, prevent or reduce the risk of cancer metastasising is also provided wherein the combination of THC and CBD may prevent or treat cancer of the lymph nodes of lungs. Preferably the THC, CBD or combination thereof may be in the form of a botanical drug substance (BDS). The THC, CBD or combination thereof may further include a non-cannabinoid therapeutic agent, in particular, a monoclonal antibody such as trastuzumab.
