Knocking out monoamine oxidase gene from the recombinant broad-spectrum Metarhizium significantly increases the concentration of tryptamine in broad-spectrum Metarhizium robertsii, thereby significantly increasing the pesticidal efficiency thereof, and shortening the semi-lethal time LT50 of the wild-type broad-spectrum Metarhizium from 7.33± 0.445 days to 6.136 ± 0.488 days. The recombinant broad-spectrum Metarhizium is harmless to the environment, and has good biological safety and no toxicity to human beings.
