The invention relates to an irrigation device for a pressurized irrigation system, the use of the device and a method of irrigating a surface which utilizes the device. The irrigation device 5 includes: - a fluid supply having a plurality of access points - a conduit having a plurality of engagement means for selectively engaging with any one of the plurality of access points of the fluid supply to establish fluid flow communication between the conduit and the fluid supply 10 - a first pivot point being formed when the first selected engagement means of the conduit engages with a first access point of the fluid supply to pivot the conduit around the first pivot point - the first selected engagement means of the conduit being disengaged from the first pivot point when the second selected engagement means of the conduit is adjacent 15 to a second access point of the fluid supply - a second pivot point being formed when the second selected engagement means of the conduit engages with a second access point of the fluid supply to pivot the conduit around the second pivot point, wherein the engagement and disengagement of the plurality of engagement means of the 20 conduit to and from the subsequent access points of the fluid supply is repeated to irrigate a surface of varying shape and size.
