Method for making an orthopaedic foamed plastic footbed containing an orthopaedic foot bed created on the upper side by foaming during pressure reaction injection, a lower side and a moulded core imparting stability to the above insole foam insole. Said method includes steps of moulding a core by moulding under pressure in a region of a first sheet of flexible material such that the core remains rigidly bound to the first sheet and reinforces said area of the first sheet. First sheet is fixed with the core formed on it in the first half-mould for foaming included in the foaming mould during reaction injection moulding so that by means of the first sheet the core is kept in the specified orthopaedic position. In the mould for foaming, in process of reaction injection moulding, components are introduced, which provide creation of polyurethane porous material, so that foamed plastic created by foaming in process of reaction moulding under pressure, on side of first sheet, facing from forming upper surface of first half-mould for foaming, and simultaneously formed by means of foam plastic stop bed on upper side. Porous plastic material is cured in a closed mould for foaming. After said curing, insole blank is removed from said foaming mould. Insole workpiece is cut to form foamed plastic insole. Orthopaedic foamed plastic insole comprises a lower coating, an orthopaedic foot stock formed on the upper side of the insole by foaming during reaction injection moulding, and a core made on the lower coating by injection moulding and imparting resistance to said foamed plastic insole.
