PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing auxiliary chair which is actually convenient and safe, can be easily applied to an existing bathtub, and can be manufactured in a low price, and to provide a bathtub apparatus for handicapped persons.SOLUTION: A bathtub apparatus for handicapped persons includes: a bathtub 2, an outside auxiliary chair 3, and an inside auxiliary chair 4, the outside auxiliary chair 3 being detachably engaged with an outer wall at one corner of the bathtub 2. The outside auxiliary chair 3 includes a top plate 5, legs 6, and an adsorptive member. The top plate 5 includes a V-shaped engagement part and an arc-shaped peripheral rim excluding the engagement part. The legs 6 are attached to the bottom surface of the top plate 5 so as not to project into a notch of the engagement part, and support the top plate 5 to keep the plate horizontal to a floor surface. One or more sucking members are mounted on side surfaces of the legs 6 which face the notch of the engagement part, to be stuck to the sidewall of the bathtub.
