PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing system enabling, in sensing an object, suppression of power loss more than sensing with using electromagnetic wave.SOLUTION: A transmission antenna 16 is connected to a power source 20 and transmits a part of power inputted thereto to a reception antenna 18. An information processor 14 determines a value according to a distance between the transmission antenna 16 and the reception antenna 18 on the basis of power output from the power source 20 and power returning from the transmission antenna 16 to the power source 20.
