PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating labiates, capable of increasing rosmarinic acid contained in the labiates.SOLUTION: The method for cultivating labiates comprises irradiating the labiates with blue monochromatic rays for a predetermined time in dark period to increase rosmarinic acid contained in the labiates. The method comprises 1-12 h irradiating time of the blue monochromatic rays in total and 50-300 &mumolm-2s-1 irradiance of the blue monochromatic rays and performs the irradiation of the blue monochromatic rays in the stage of 3-14 days before harvesting the labiates.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 シソ科植物に含まれるロズマリン酸を増加させることができるシソ科植物の栽培方法を提供することである。【解決手段】 シソ科植物の栽培過程において、暗期の一定時間に青色単色光を前記シソ科植物に照射して、前記シソ科植物内に含まれるロズマリン酸を増加させることを特徴とするシソ科植物の栽培方法。さらに、前記青色単色光の照射時間がのべ1~12時間であること。さらに、前記青色単色光の照射量が50~300μmolm-2s-1であること。さらに、前記青色単色光の照射を、前記シソ科植物の収穫日の3~14日前の時期に行うこと。【選択図】 図1
