A scrub brush housing a swab of foam material impregnated with an anti bacterial disinfectant is first placed over a female luer with an annular portion of the swab compressed against the luer and a central portion of the swab passed into the passage of the luer to effect a full contact with the surfaces of the swab. The swab is then rotated on the female luer for a time sufficient to substantially remove the biofilm on the surfaces of the luer that are contacted by the swab.Selon l’invention, une brosse de frottement recevant un écouvillon de matière de mousse imprégnée dun désinfectant antibactérien est tout dabord placée sur un raccord Luer femelle avec une partie annulaire de lécouvillon comprimée contre le raccord Luer et une partie centrale de lécouvillon amenée à passer dans le passage du raccord Luer pour effectuer un contact entier avec les surfaces de lécouvillon. Lécouvillon est ensuite amené à tourner sur le raccord Luer femelle pendant un laps de temps suffisant pour retirer de façon substantielle le biofilm sur les surfaces du raccord Luer qui sont en contact avec lécouvillon.
