The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, comprising, in a medium that is suitable for dyeing keratin fibres: - at least one oxidation base chosen from the compounds of formula (I) and the addition salts thereof, solvates thereof and solvates of the salts thereof, and - at least one coupler chosen from derivatives of the cationic aminopyridine type of formula (II), the addition salts thereof, solvates thereof and solvates of the salts thereof. The composition of the present invention makes it possible in particular to obtain colorations with varied shades, which are strong and/or chromatic, powerful, aesthetic, sparingly selective and resistant to the various attacking factors to which the hair may be subjected.Cette invention concerne une composition pour colorer des fibres kératiniques comprenant, dans un milieu approprié pour colorer des fibres kératiniques : - au moins une base doxydation choisie parmi les composés de Formule (I), et ses sels daddition, ses solvates et les solvates de ses sels et - au moins un agent de couplage choisi parmi les dérivés du type aminopyridine cationique de Formule (II), et ses sels daddition, ses solvates et les solvates de ses sels.
