According to the present invention, disclosed are an apparatus for measuring pruritus using inertial measurement principle and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises: a ring-shaped outer housing comprising a display part on an upper surface thereof； an inner housing which has a ring shape smaller than the outer housing, and is worn with fingers on an inner surface thereof； a substrate-shaped operation part which is arranged between the outer housing and the inner housing, and is assembled on the inner surface of the outer housing and the outer surface of the inner housing； and a button part which turns on or off a power source by being attached to the outer housing, and toggles real-time measurement situation data displayed on the display part. The operation part judges whether the motion of the finger is a scratching behavior, by evaluating inertial measurement data as to the motion of the finger.본 발명은 관성측정 원리를 이용한 가려움증 측정 장치 및 방법을 공개한다. 이 장치는 상부 표면에 디스플레이부를 구비하는 반지 형상의 외곽 하우징； 상기 외곽 하우징보다 크기가 작은 반지 형상을 가지고, 내부 표면에 손가락이 착용되는 내부 하우징； 상기 외곽 하우징과 상기 내부 하우징 사이에 배치되어 상기 외곽 하우징의 내부면과 상기 내부 하우징의 외부면에 조립되는 기판 형상의 동작부； 및 상기 외곽 하우징에 부착되어 전원을 턴 온 또는 턴 오프하고, 상기 디스플레이부에서 디스플레이되는 실시간 측정 상황 데이터를 토글링하는 버튼부；를 구비하고, 상기 동작부는 상기 손가락의 움직임에 대한 관성 측정 데이터를 평가하여 상기 손가락의 움직임이 소파행위인지 여부를 판단하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
