The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing an extract of immature fruits of Rhus javanica Linne as the main active ingredient, and more specifically, to a cosmetic composition containing 0.001-1.0 wt% of an extract of immature fruits of Rhus javanica Linne that is produced from extracting immature fruits of Rhus javanica Linne using a solvent and condensing and freeze-drying the extract, and thus having active oxygen removing and skin-whitening effects and a wrinkle treating effect, improving elasticity and preventing photoaging of the skin. According to the present invention, the extract of immature fruits of Rhus javanica Linne not only has an active oxygen removing effect, but also reduces the biosynthesis of MMP-1 in human dermal fibroblasts and promotes the biosynthesis of type I procollagen, thereby improving skin elasticity, treating skin-wrinkles, preventing photoaging, and imparting a skin-whitening effect.본 발명은 붉나무 미숙과 추출물을 주요 활성성분으로 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 좀 더 구체적으로는 붉나무 미숙과 천연물을 용매를 이용하여 추출하고, 농축 및 동결건조하여 제조된 붉나무 미숙과 추출물을 0.001 ~ 1.0중량%를 함유하며 활성산소 소거효과, 피부 주름 개선효과, 피부 탄력 개선효과, 광노화 방지 효과, 미백효과가 우수한 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 의하면 붉나무 미숙과 추출물은 활성산소 소거효과뿐만 아니라, 사람 섬유아세포에서 MMP-1 생합성 저해효과와 타입 1 프로콜라겐의 생합성 촉진에 의한 피부 탄력 및 주름 개선효과, 광노화 방지효과, 미백효과를 나타낸다.
