PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of operation site protective sheets to be easily handled in the neighborhood of an operator.SOLUTION: A protective sheet holding member 1 is the member for holding various sizes of a plurality of operation site protective sheets 9. The operation site protective sheet 9 is used for covering the front surface of a brain or a cranial nerve in a brain surgery, preventing the brain from drying, and protecting the cranial nerve, etc. The protective sheet holding member 1 includes: a thin plate-like body part 2 formed of a thermoplastic resin and two nearly circular holes 3 formed in the body part 2. The body part 2 is preferably formed of an olefin resin, and more preferably formed of polypropylene (PP). The plurality of operation site protective sheets 9 impregnated with saline are made to adhere to the front surface 21 of the body part 2 using tension (surface tension and interfacial tension, etc.) to be generated by the saline.
