A breathable elastic film includes particular amounts of a polyolefin elastomer having a density of 0.860 to 0.890 grams per cubic centimeter, a polyethylene oxide having a Brookfield viscosity in 5 weight percent aqueous solution at 25˚C of 30 to 115 centiPoise, and a hydrophilic filler. The film has a water vapor transmission rate of at least 1,000 g-mil/m2-day, as determined according to ASTM E398-2780.
