The invention relates to a use of a pharmaceutical composition in manufacturing drugs for treating ovarian, tubal and peritoneal cancer. It comprises applying an effective dose of the pharmaceutical composition (including a copper chelator, a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent and an anthracycline) to a subject in need for reducing concentration of intracellular copper ions and promoting activation of transcription factor Sp1 and human copper transporter l (hCTR1), so as to treat ovarian, tubal and peritoneal cancer.本發明係有關於一種醫藥組成物用於製備治療卵巢癌、輸卵管癌及腹膜癌之藥物上的用途，其係施予一有效劑量之醫藥組成物(包括一銅螯合劑、一鉑類化合物與一蒽環類藥物)於一所需個體，以降低細胞內銅離子濃度，且促進轉錄因子Sp1及銅輸送蛋白human copper transporter 1(hCTR1)基因活化，達到治療卵巢癌、輸卵管癌或腹膜癌。
