PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost drip-feed detector that precisely detects the drip flow rate, an infusion pump using this detector, and a method for controlling these devices.SOLUTION: The drip-feed detector includes a transparent drip-feed tube, a light emitting part arranged on an external side of the drip-feed tube, and a two-dimensional image sensor located beyond the drip-feed tube and opposite the light emitting part.
