PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable portable device for a horticultural binder with which the horticultural binder may be easily carried in a stabile state and bind operation of a stem or branch of a plant may be smoothly proceeded.SOLUTION: A horticultural binder 12 comprises: a tape feeder 16 which has a longer shape in one direction and comprises a binding needle storing part 26 and an arm 18 which is pivotally supported at a middle position in the tape feeder 16 and branches from the tape feeder 16 so as to downwardly bifurcate at an acute angle and form an acute angle space part 30 with the tape feeder 16. The tape feeder 16 and the arm 18 cooperate to bind a stem or branch of a plant with a prop and hold both ends of the tape with a binding needle while feeding the tape from the tape feeder 16. The horticultural binder 12 is so formed that the gravity center thereof is arranged near a shaft support part 28 at which the bifurcated branch is made.
