This invention relates to a disposable diaper with sensing function, including an absorbent pad and a radio frequency identification tag. The absorbent pad includes an inner lining layer, a waterproof layer, an absorbent layer interposed between the inner lining layer and waterproof layer, and at least one release paper interposed between inner lining layer and the waterproof layer. The release paper extends inwardly from one side of the absorbent pad so that the absorbent pad is formed with a receiving space with an opening in the said side. The sensing line is disposed between the inner lining layer and the waterproof layer with one end located in the receiving space. The radio frequency identification tag is located within the receiving space and is electrically connected with the sensing line. By equipping the release paper, a radio frequency identification tag accommodating space can be directly formed on one side of the absorbent pad when the absorbent pad is pressed in the manufacturing process.
