A tibial prosthesis for at least partially replacing the proximal tibia, comprising: (a) a lower surface for contacting a resected surface on the proximal tibia； and (b) a keel for entry into a cavity formed in the proximal tibia and extending from the indicated lower surface at an angle in the lower back direction. The tibial prosthesis according to claim 1, wherein the keel has a front portion of the keel, a medial portion of the keel and a lateral portion of the keel, the front portion of the keel extending from the indicated lower surface at an angle in the lower rear direction. The tibial prosthesis according to claim 2, further comprising a medial support portion, a lateral support portion and a connecting support portion extending between the medial support portion and the lateral support portion and connecting said portions； moreover, at least part of the anterior portion of the keel extends essentially in the medial-lateral direction at the connecting portion of the support； moreover, at least part of the medial portion of the keel extends essentially in the anteroposterior direction on the medial portion of the support； and at least a portion of the lateral portion of the keel extends substantially in the anteroposterior direction on the lateral portion of the support.
