PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized fundus camera which has both an index projection means for focusing and an internal fixation target projection means by an easy construction.
SOLUTION: An index member 51 is formed of a transparent material. Three microscopic deflection prisms 51a-51c are arranged on the surface of the index member 51. The deflection prism 51a which is arranged approximately in the center of the index member 51 is so constructed that it reflects light beams emitted from a light source 51a for focusing index which is arranged near the index member 51 and generates near-infrared light in the direction of the light axis of an illumination optical system. The reflection of the light beams reflected by the deflection prism 51a is branched into two directions as split indexes by a split prism 51e and an opening 51d for focusing index arranged on the other side of the deflection prism 51a. Also, the deflection prisms 51b and 51c are prisms for the internal fixation target and reflect the light beams from visible light sources 51b and 51c for fixation target as fixation targets for right and left eyes of a subject.
