PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol film excellent in water solubility, especially a soluble action at that time, further solubility in soil, and also blocking resistance. SOLUTION: This polyvinyl alcohol film comprises containing a polyvinyl alcohol (A) having a degree of saponification of not less than 65 mole % to less than 75 mole % and a polyvinyl alcohol (B) having a degree of saponification of not less than 75 mole % wherein difference of the degree of saponification between polyvinyl alcohols (A) and (B) is not less than 3 mole %.
