The acquisition unit acquires multiple cross-sectional image data that are ultrasound image data for simultaneously displaying a plurality of cross sections of a subject. The individual image generating unit generates individual image data for each of the cross sections based on the position information of the cross section along with the display of the multiple cross-sectional image data.
