PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent capable of preventing an inflammation from being generated in a gastrointestinal tract and capable of reducing a risk of the restenosis of the gastrointestinal tract.SOLUTION: A stent 1 of the present invention is to be indwelt in a gastrointestinal tract 8 and comprises a cylinder 2 and a reticulate strut 3. The cylinder 2 is formed of a biodegradable polymer sheet and has openings at both ends thereof.
